We are pleased to provide a fantastic new platform for you to offer Insight, Introductions and Opportunities directly to OppOs within the JobOppO network.

A relaxed yet informative virtual Microsoft Teams event.

Each JobOppO Connects session will bring together 5 of our Employment Partners to talk directly with a number of Veterans or Service Leavers looking to find out more. The session will be hosted by members of the JobOppO team and, we hope, following the below format will make for a positive experience for all.

Why is your organisation a great place to be Veteran? What support is there for on-boarding and supporting Veterans? What does your team do to unearth the potential and acknowledge the the skills and experience Veterans and Service Leavers offer?

Introduction.

Please provide a wavetop overview of your organisation, what it does, what it has achieved, what lies ahead and why it's a good organisation to work for. You can of course refer to your microsite, podcast, JobOppO House profile etc. for more info.

Opportunities.

This is your chance to highlight the breadth of live and future opportunities direct to members of the JobOppO network.

We know some will be more pressing for you than others, however it's important to remember not all OppOs will be available immediately, and some will be looking for a more general overview.

What next.

Unfortunately, there will not be time for questions at the conclusion of each Employment Partner presentation, but the chat function will be open throughout.

These sessions will provide a fantastic opportunity to shine a light on your organisation, your purpose, your people and the opportunities you have.

We recommend preparing a "Calling Card" to pop in the chat so all OppOs know how to get in touch to find out more. This could perhaps include the following information;

  • Your contact details and/or those of any other relevant members of your TA/recruitment team
  • Details of any Armed Forces Champions or Veterans in your organisation you know will gladly assist
  • Highlight any live and immediate "must fill" roles you currently have
